张维雨是一位活跃于国际舞台的戏剧女中音歌唱家与钢琴家,现任UMC音乐总监。她以富有表现力的声音与深刻的音乐诠释见长,曾于2019年登上麦迪逊广场花园演唱美国国歌,现场嘉宾包括希拉里·克林顿女士。其独特音色备受国际知名古典音乐评论家Mary Lou Falcone赞誉,被认为唤起了美声唱法黄金时代的典雅与辉煌。

Weiyu Zhang is a dramatic mezzo-soprano and pianist and currently serves as the Music Director of UMC. Career highlights include singing the U.S. National Anthem at Madison Square Garden in 2019 with Ms. Hillary Clinton in attendance. Her voice has been praised by internationally renowned classical music critic Mary Lou Falcone, who described its timbre as reminiscent of the bel canto singers of the past.
Weiyu has performed at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Great Hall of the People, Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Castleton Theatre, Tianjin Concert Hall, and Shanghai Symphony Concert Hall. Her repertoire spans opera and contemporary works, including Gianni Schicchi, Buoso’s Ghost, Red River Valley, and Operabbit.
She holds a Master’s degree in Music Performance from CUNY, a Bachelor’s degree from the China Conservatory of Music, and an Artist Diploma from MSU, with additional professional development at The Juilliard School.
